WIPRO INTERVIEW QUESTIONS & CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE FOR FRESHERS

 
 
There where three steps in the selection process:-
1. Aptitude test
2. Technical Interview
3. HR Interview

Aptitude Test:
Its a written test of 60 min duration. There were three sections-
  •  Verbal- 20 questions
  • Aptitude- 20 questions
  • Technical -10 questions . 
The verbal part contained ques from Active voice and Passive voice,Direct and Indirect Speech,synonym, antonym, making a meaningful word out of given alphabets etc. The aptitude part had questions from time and distance, area, average,equation,principal interest etc. The technical part consisted of basic C programs, Data structure questions like postfix notation, stack etc.

Solve previous wipro question papers and R.S.Agarwal is more than enough...

With this I cleared the aptitude round. Next they gave the paper to write essay......

Essay writing:(Duration :10 Min)
This is not the Elimination Round.

Note:- Essay writing  is just to check your  fluent in English. Based on your Essay, sometime HR will ask Questions..Be carefull while writing. Avoid grammatical mistake.

Technical Interview- 
My technical interview was on 8th June,2011 . The interview is as follows-
Me: Good afternoon, Sir.
Sir: Good afternoon. Please take your sit.
Me: Thank you, Sir.
Sir: Show me your CV. (he looked at my resume for more than 1 mins).Introduce yourself...
Me: Iam xx completed my B.tech(I.T) at xx College with an academic aggregate of 83.9.I am very much good in C,C++,Java.I am participated in several programming contest(symposiumz)  in several colleges and won several prizes .I am a quick learner and so on........(I told all the achievements .he was very much impressed with my introduction.He asked most of the questions from my introduction...)
Sir: Whats are all the programing contest u participated.how it was conducted
Me: told...
Sir: k.well....write a pgm for prime number(he gave pen and paper)
Me: (I completed quickly...Friends...Prepare these1.palindrome for string and number 2.String Reverse 3.Sum,Average of all the number 4.Prime  no 5.Armstrong no 6.fibonacci 7.factorial  are all important for wipro)
Sir: (gave one pgm from C++ asked to identify the error in it.
Me: I identified
Sir: Whats the use of IP address
Me: told correctly...
Sir: whats your favorite sports player and why?
Me: told
so on
He asked some ques from written essay...
Then He gave the form to fill up.(it means selected in second round)

This round is to check your Hard Skill  such as
  • Proficiency in Programming Languages(if you are from IT Background).
  • Technical Knowledge.

HR Interview:
Question asked about leadership skills,Importance and qualities..

Some Questions asked by HR:-
What do you know about Wipro? 
Where you want to be after 5 year?
If you became a Team Leader, how many people you can manage?
Whats are all the characteristics leader should have?
Who is your roll model? why?
Whats your Father and Mother?
How many Brothers and Sister? 
Whats your Hobbies?

If i am answering any question..she asked me more questions from my answers.Be Careful while answering.

This round is to check your Soft Skill  such as
  • teamwork
  • leadership
  • communication
  • good manners
  • negotiation

HR told me to wait outside the room.After few minutes, some guy came outside  and announced the Shortlisted candidate. I was one among them.
